How to use Packmorrow
Everything Packmorrow does, in the order you'll meet it.
Kits
A kit is a reusable list, such as Weekend away or Toiletries. Packmorrow starts you with kits based on your answers in the introduction, and you can add, rename or delete them in Kits. The free version keeps three kits; Plus has no limit.
Trips
Tap + on Trips, give the trip a name and dates, and choose the kits it starts from. Items come in with their sections and quantities. Changing a trip never changes a kit until you say so in the review.
Filing
Type into the add bar and the item files itself into a section. If it lands somewhere you don't like, move it (long-press, Edit, Section), and Packmorrow files that word there from then on.
Quantities
An item can follow the nights. Socks in the starter kits are a pair a night plus a spare, so a five-night trip packs six.
Before you go
Long-press an item and choose Before you go for things you'll still use until you leave. They wait in their own short list and come up as you head out.
Reminders
With notifications on, Packmorrow reminds you the evening before a dated trip, on the morning you leave, and the day after you're home. Turn each one off in Settings.
The review
When you're home, open the trip and tap Review this trip. Mark what you forgot and what you didn't need, check the changes, then tap the update button, which says how many kits will change (Update 2 kits). It's all one change you can undo.
Family (Plus)
Add the people you pack for. Each gets their own list and progress on this iPhone.
Lock Screen and widgets (Plus)
On the day you leave, Before you go appears on the Lock Screen. Add a Packmorrow widget to tick items from your Home Screen.
iCloud sync (Plus)
With Plus, your lists sync through your own private iCloud whenever iCloud is on for Packmorrow in your iPhone's Settings app. Packmorrow's own Settings shows whether sync is up to date.
Siri and Shortcuts
Ask Siri "What's left to pack in Packmorrow?", or use the Shortcuts app to add an item to your next trip.
Paste a list
Copy a list from Notes or Reminders. In Kits, tap + and choose Paste a list to make a new kit from it, or use a kit's ••• menu → Paste a list to add to it. Each line becomes an item.
Print (Plus)
Open a trip's ••• menu and choose Print for a clean paper checklist.
Your data
Settings → Your data exports a backup file and imports one. Before anything is replaced or erased, Packmorrow keeps a safety copy on the device for 7 days.
